OHINEMUEI.
(FBOM OUR OWtf COBBESPONDENT.)
Paeboa, 10 a.m. This day.
The raiu which commenced on Sunday and continued until last night caused a fresh in the river, which completely carried away the ricketty structure lately serving as a wharf. It is high time a suitable landing was erected, business people at present being much inconvenienced. The Pearl is coming up today principally loaded for one party./
It is rumored that the bridge across the Ohinemuri, connecting the Morning Ligtt with Perry's machine, has been carried away by the fresh. With this exception no great damage has been done by the flood.
Good news continues to come from the Waitekauri, and it is expected that Owharoa will have another fair trial, owing to monied and energetic men becoming part proprietors of the principal mines and battery. ... . The Karangahake is expecting a much larger yield this month than the past.
