ALBURNIA.
Yesterday, the manager, Mr S. ; GribbJ.e, broke into the run of gold in the : leading stope and secured 15Qlbs of specimens iwitha show left. On Thursday he obtained 501bs, and earlier in the week several smaller parcels were to band, so that there is now quite a respectable specimen crushing which will doubtless be imuch larger before the general stuff: can Ibe crushed. The following is the copy of a telegram dispatched to Auckland to gladden the hearts of the shareholders there. "Into run or gold leading stopei. Took 'but 15Gibi specimens.—S. Gbibbib." To-day 250 pounds of fair -ispecimehs were to hand, which was reported by telegram to the directors. I Downie and party completed their (crushing to-day for the return of 49ozs ;ldwt gold. Two or three other parties are employed accumulating parcels of crushing dirt. v
