The Mlowipg report has been received under da^e May 7th :—During the' past fortnight the south drive on the No. 4 ■ leader has been driven a distance of ten : feet, making the - total iengtn 100 feet from .the main, tunnel: 'The leader, has j increased in size, there being a solid body iof stone -eighteen inches in width in theface, which is heavily charged with mine'ral.ibut up to; the present time has given but poor prospects when tested. The drive on the No. 2 lode has beenrcarried^ forward: seventeen feet» -the leader being; very small and in hard country..,. There; are indications of better ground coming in the. face, so that,we may expect'a change for the better both in width and value before long. The winze is down >,to a depth of 31 feet, which I consider low enough until such time as the drive is carried underneath, when I can quickly break through by rising and sinking.—l remain, &c, E.
