Ensor and party finished their crushing at the company's battery last evening, the result being 240z? of retorted gold from 8 tons of stuff crushed. The lode this party is working on varies in size from 9 inches to one foot, and the, above crushing is one of the poorest they "have yet taken out, several good returns having been obtained during the last two or three months. As there are backs of 100 feet in height there is any amount of stuff tostope out.
