HERALD (WAITEKAURI.)
At a meeting;, of the directors of this mine held yesterday a call of 3d per share was made, and a contract for driving a distance of 250 feet was let. It is to be hoped that no difficulty will ■be experienced in collecting the call to enable the operations to be carried on. The ground lirs been attracting considerable attention of late, and the prospects of the mine are admitted to be good.
