At a meeting of * the directors of this • mine held at the office of the companyr yesterday, Mr Wilson,. <£■ Auckland, was elected to the director;. in the place of Mr James Fratcr, disqualified. A letter from the directors of tb? City of London was read asking for permission" to wind by the Queen of the May shaft. After some discussion it Vas resolve! to grant the. permission provided it did not interfere" with the working of the mine.
