The Georgia Minstrels.

The "Original Georgia Minstrels" made their first appearance at the Theatre Boyal last night. There was a splendid; house, every part being packed, and the long programme submitted was listened to with attention and frequently applauded. The first part commenced with a " drawing-room" scene, the. minstrels being disposed in various positions about the stage, the only likeness to the ordinary mins'rels being in placing of double corner men in their respective places. These corner men were undoubtedly the life aril soul of the first part. They were intensely funny in their manipulations, and created much laughter, especially the facial and labial contortions of " Billy Wilson." In the first part the comic was in the ascendant, and it was evidently highly relished. The second part of the programme embraced a baa jo solo by Hosea Easton, some very clever dancing by the " big black four.' 7 and by other members of the troupe, and some laughable negro farces. The performance was a very long ode, but the audience did not seem to regret that, every item being listened to or. watched with attention. The orchestra of the company is very good. Billy Wilson, was excessively funny in his burlesque of Japanese conjuring business, and created much laughter by the way ill which he submitted a rus^y old sword (which it was presumed he was about to swallow) to the examination of two gentlemen in the audience. The performance was concluded with, a farce and a. jubilee breakdown. Judging by last night's reception the Georgias should do a week's good business. . -
