Arrived: Schooner.Eose Anna Eose. The mate reports slipping the anchor and standing out from Timaru atll a.m. On Monday he had to stand to the southward and eastward, and at noon next day he was ii lat. UU S., long. 172-3 E. She then beat dov-n the coast against a fierce southerly gale and heavy sea and split all sails ; made the heads this afternoon and was towed up at 450 p.m.
