The manager of the Bank of New Zealand has offered to negotiate the balance of the Harbor Board loan of £126,600, and to place extended'facilities for financial arrangement at the disposal of the Board. The offer was referred to the Finance Committee.
The rush which lately took place at the Taieri is now all over, and the ground is abandoned.
