WAITEKAURI.
The following report was received from the ' directors - to-day : — " Waitekauri mine, April 30th, '77.—Directors of the Waitekauri G.M. and Q.C.Co^-Gentie-men, —I beg to forward you the following weekly report: —On the 160 feet level ' the drive to the north of the winze is in 70 feet. I am taking eight feet of the^fe reef which is looking well. The leading^^ stope to the north- of the. winze on ■ the 160 feet level is in 25 'feet, showing some- good stone. The leading stope south is in 40 feet, and is showing very good golden stone.. I have started two more stopes, one to. the north- and the .other to the south of the winzs. They are both showing first-rate golden • stone.' I have also been timbering on the '160 feet level, making it Secure for filling in which I will commence this week. On the lower level in the face ofthe drive to the south of No. 2 winze the reef has somewhat contracted, but is still showing some very good looking stone. In the drive to the north the reef is 9 feet in width, showing first-rate golden stone.— I remain! yours , obediently, « iGkillEa Wilson, mine manager."
