i Monday. The Customs revenue collected at the port of Wellington during April amounted to £14,173, as against £15,757 for the same month last year. Signors Del Vescovo and Sani, the Italian sculptors, have just completed a statue of "the iate Dr Featherston, in Carara marble, which is to cost two hundred guineas. It is considered the finest work of art ever seen in the colony. It is specially requested that it- shall be allowed to remain here till the formal unveiling next week at the Museum. THe Italians then go to Melbourne, under a contract for O'Connell statue, at a price of two thousand guineas.
