This day.

The Presbytery to-day considered a call from Lyttelton to. the .Rev. J. Hill. It was resolved that notice be served on the Thames congregation, and the Presbytery meeting be adjourned till the 16th of May 0 when the call will be considered.

The Orangemen's banquet last night was largely attended.

A fire last night destroyed the outbuildings of E. Beck, at Mount Albert. Insured in the South British for a hundred pounds.
