The Payment of ever& Policy is guaranteed'hy. the Colony. Participatioa in Profits is authorised-by the'.Le'gis lature to be given to Policy-holders. 2~- Premium^ rates are lower than those of Private Companies. 3—No Policy or Medical Fees charged. . 4-All Policies are npn-forfeit--1 able after one full annual payment to the ' full extent of their value, under a special regulation providing for the continuance in force of .every Policy for the original amount, until the surrender-value of the Policy is exhausted in payment of premiums. : 5-Absolute Security from Loss —Insurers, after haying paid! three .full annual premiums/ are guaranteed ft eashfsurrender value of not Jess than 40 per cent, of the paid-up premiums ; arid if for any reason the premiums are not paid when due, a paidup Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid, and often much in excess. - 6— Thirty days of grace are allowed on all Renewal Premiums. 7—Liberal conditions a« to travelling and residence. ■ B—Policies protected from Bankruptcy- —An Insurance Policy effected by the Insured, Isnajide on his own life, is protected from bankruptcy or insolvency laws to a certain amount, which increases with its duration. Thus, after ife has endured for two years, it. is protected to the extent of £200; after five years, to £500 j after seven years, to £1000; after ten years, to £2000. This protection applies only in favour of the personal representative of the Insured. 9—Married women may effect Poli ] cies, dispose of the money by will, as if single; and' their •" Policies are protected, from the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar id those stated above. 10—Settlement Policies- —Policies effected for the benefij; of the wife, and children of the Insured are absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or any period not less than seven years. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by will. 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with —When a claim under a Policy does not exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thus saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. 12—Prompt payment of Claims and no discount charged. .- , :'.' NOTICE, SECTION 121 (1) of "Tbe Stamp Act, 1875," provides tbaf every person takiug pojßceeion of, or receiving or paying any moneys belonging .to, or accruing from, the property (realty .asrwell as personalty) of any person dying on and after Ist January next," without having first filed the required statemend and paid the duties assessed thereon, sLall forfeit a sum not exceeding £500. Whether probate or lettera of administration are grafted by any Court or not, a statement, of ail property must be filed and duties paid before the property or any part thereof of any i deceased person is in any manner dealt with. On payment of the proper duties, the probate or letters received from tLe Court, or the statement of property in other cases, will be 'stomped and delivered to the person entitled thereto. Forms of this statement (L) miy be obtatained at any Stamp Office, at the offices of Registrurs and Clerics of the Supreme and District Courts, and from the Postmaster Depositaries throughout the colony, from whom also mi»y be obtained further information. .>...
