: . The crushing of the. 60 ton parcel from ' the No. 4 lode was started yesterday at Bull's battery, and as far as it goes it looks pretty- well. The trial lot from the, cross lode was started to crush upon this morning with the 2 stamper battery also at the same mill, and the show on the plates is promising. The cross lode in the winze continues to look the same, and is showing good colors of gold. Some nice pieces of picked stone were selected yesterday, and a small parcel was also, obtained to-day. There is nothing fresh, to report in connection with any other portion of the mine.
