This day. McLean's tribute crushing is showing up well. Tokatea.—Eeported a parcel of good stone from the Van level. McNeill's claim just cut a lode three feet thick, gold showing through the. stone. New Zealand claim.—Getting out good stone. Young New Zealand.—A very good show in the mine. The Inspector of Miners' Eights arrived last nignt. Mercury Bay.—Arcadia for Napier and the Start for Tauranga sailed to-day. A concert in aid of the Catholic School and Church will be held to-morrow night. A number of lady amateurs from Auckland are down. It will likely be a great success.
