Before J. Kilgour and H. Goldsmith, Esqs., J's.P.) UNTICKETED DOGS;
Daniel Orme was charged with allowing a dog to be at large without a collar for the current year affixed thereto.
Defendant pleaded not guilty. ■'■:■_ Sergeant Mulville, sworn, deposed—l know defendant. I found a dog on the footpath. Defendant said it was his dog. Cross-examined by defendant—The dog outside your shop you admitted was yours as well as the dog inside. . Constable Wigmore corroborated Sergeant JMulyille's evidence. Defendant was fined 5s and costs. <
James Senior was also charged with allowing an unregistered dog to wander at large in Pollen street. Defendant pleaded guilty, and was fined 5s and costs. STRAY ttOBSES. Chas. Winder was charged with allowing two horses to wander' at large at Parawai. Defendant was fined 5s and costs. Court adjourned.
