The Payment of evers Policy is guaranteed by the Colony. cipation in Pronto is authorised by the'Legis lature to be given to Policy-holders. 2-Premium rates arc lower than those of Private Companies. 3—No Policy or Medical Fees charged. 4-All Policies are non-forfeit-able after one full annual payment to the full '.ex tint oi their value, under a special regulation providing .for the continuance in force of every Policy for the original^ amount, until the surrender-vilue of the Policy if exhausted in payment of premiums. . s—Absolute Security from Loss —Insurers, after having p^id three full annual premiums, are guaranteed a cash Burrender value of not less than 40 per cent. o( the paid-up premiums; and if for any reason the premiums ore not paid when due, a paidup Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid, and often much in excess. 6—Thirty days of grace are allowed on all Renewal Prem>ums. 7-Liberal conditions as to travel ling and residence. B—Policies protected from B ankriiptcy. —An Insurance Policy effected by the Injured, lenafide on his own life, ib protected from bankruptcy or imolvenoy lnwMo a certain amount, which increase/* with its duration. Thus, after it lias endured for two ycarß, it is protected to the extent of £200; after five years, to £500; after seven years, to £1000; after ten years; to £2000. This protection 'lpplies only in favour of the personal represenj alive of the Insured. 9—Married women may effect PoX cies, dispose of the money by will, as if single; and their Policies are protected froni the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar to those stated above. 10—Settlement Policies —Policies effected for the benefib of the wife and children of the Insured aro absolutely protected from* the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or any period not less than seven years. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by will. 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with —When a claim under a Policy doeß not exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thus saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. 12—Prompt payment of Claims and no discount changed. NOTICE, SECTION 121 (1) of "The" Stamp Act, 1875," provides that every person taking possession of, or receiving or pajing any moneys belonging to, or accruing from, the property (realty as well os personalty) of any prrson dying on and afer Ist January next, without having fiist filed the required statemen!' and paid the duties assessed thereon, si all forfeit a sum not exceeding £500. Whether, probate or letters of administration are grat-ted by any Court or not, a statement of ai property n«.ust be filed and duties paid before the property or any part thereof of any deceased person is in any manner dealt with. On payment of the proper duties, the probate or letters received from the Court, or the statement of property in other cases, will be stamped and delivered to the person entitled thereto. Forms of thiß statement (L) uny be obtatained at any Stamp Office, at the offices of Registrars and Clerks of the Supreme and District Courts, and from the Postmaster Depositaries throughout the colony, from whom also may be obtained farther information.
