MINING COMPANY MEETING.

Queen (Wait-EKA-TUu). " .. A meeting of shareholders of the Queen G.M. Co. waa held at the Company's office this afternoon for the purpose of electing directors and any other business brought forward. Messers Brown, Bleazard, Jones, Ehrenfried and Reid were the gentlemen elected. A motion was passed to the effect that all shares be forfeited upon which calls remain unpaid by the 27th proximo. Two of the directors were, appointed to proceed io Waitekauri and inspect the mine and decide upon a plan of operations. Upon their return tenders are to be called" for the works required. The meeting was brought to a close by a rote of thanks being proposed for the able manner in which Mr Ehrenfried had fulfilled the duties of Chairman.
