Royal Oak.—The manager's report is very satisfactory. Gold is obtained in most parts of the mine. A leader has been cut in the low level, four hundred and fourteen feet, in which gold was obtained, with the important result of one hundred and forty four pounds •pecimens and twenty-five tons of stuff in hand.
Tokatea. —The manager's report speaks hopefully of the mine, everything is going well; the prospects generally improved. Two hundred and forty-five pounds of specimens and picked stuff in hand. Gold is showing throughout the mine.
