.THIS DAY. (Before W. Fraser, Esq., R.M.) CIVIL SIDE. Judgments fob Plaintiffs. In the following cases judgment was given for plaintiffs:—J. E. Hansen v. Vincent —Claim, £7 8s 4d, and costs, 235. G. N. Brassey v. J. W. Thorp—Claim, £5 14s 2d, and costs, 13a. SHOBT V. QUINN. Claim, £9 13s 3d, goods. . Thos.. Quinn, sworn, deposed—l paid £5. I have been unable to pay more. I had a crop of potatoes, but it was a poor one. I received £20 in March. I have had other debts to pay. I couldn't; pay Short. I haven't a penny in my pocket. The debt is of 12 months' stand* ingOrder that defendant pay the debt in one month, or go to Mount Eden for a month. ..■■'"-. Case Withdrawn. binney v. keilt; Claim, £15, promissory note. Mr Macdonald applied for costs. ■ R. Kelly informed the Court that he was not the penon. He had received a threatening letter from Mr Binney; it was for B. J. Kelly. He got the notice yesterday. Mr Binney said he did not object to pay costs. He didn't want to pay law costs. The Court awarded £1 to Kelly. LIPSEY V. CASHELI. Claim, £19 17s 6d. F. Lipsey, sworn; deposed-r-Cashell is indebted to me for amount claimed. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs £4sßd. ADCCCK V. PITKETHLY. Claim, £5 19s 2d. W. Adcock, sworn, deposed—l supplied goods to the amount claimed. Judgment for plaintiff with costs, 235. BATE CASES. Judgment was given in the following cases for the Borough Council:—Fleming v. Crown Princess G.M.Co.—Claim, 15s, rated, and costs 31s. Same v. Graham (no appearance of defendant)— Claim, Bs, rates, and costs 9s. Same w Morten— Claim, ss, rates, and costs 9s. Same v. Farrelly—-Claim, 6s, rates, and costs,—. Same v. Symons—Claim, 12s, rates, and costs 9s. The Court adjourned till 2 o'clock. The Court resumed at 2 o'clock. KEELAN V. BANK OF IBELAND Claim, £15, account stated. Mr Macdonald appeared for the plaintiff. D. G. MacDpnnell, sworn, deposed—l am the manager of the Bank of Ireland. Keelan worked for the shareholders before the company was incorporated, Plaintiff non-suited; no costs.
