The following is the mine manager's report presented at the meeting of directors in Auckland yesterday:—Moanatairi Goldmining Company (registered). —Thames, April 7th, 1877.—The Directors.— Gentlemen,—l have the honor to. forward you my weekly report:—S.E. Cross-cut, 80 feet level, No. & reef.— i Timbering up has been completed and 1 driving east resumed. The reef is now 3 feet thick, m&jhomp^&Q&jdfM*^ gold, and looks promising for further improvement., „ In-.-carrying, the pleading stope east the hew shot of g6ld is rising an.tliat direction.- The last;bkwi.piifc.ia in this run gave 3300 ounces ofjimalgam, and left a good show of gold oiTthe face. Not much gold has been broken from the old.ruadwring the week, it T being aecesv ,sary to"'rise for stope on,west side, a/d then stope eastwards. This will be done next week, along No. 1 flhot oft- gold. In the dfive west' the reef Vis -s'» feiif thick, and show* colors of g01d.,, The,s]idcpre- /:- viously referred to has not yet been intersected. ;The; stope,jSouth on the new or crews leader has, considerably "improxed^And .is, now giving, #>od. payable -, ;stuff. There is no .change' in Wallace's ' •leader. N.W. Cross-cut, junction of jWob.
