The Payment of everj Policy is guaranteed by the Colony. Participation in Protus is authorised by the Legia latwe to be given to Policy-holders. -- 2- Premium rates are lower than those of Prirate Companies. 3—No Policy or Medical Fees charged. 4—All Policies jure non-forfeit-able -after one full annual payment to the full extent oi their value, under a speoial * regulation providing for the continuance in, force of every Policy for the original amount, until Iho surrender-value of the Policy is ex* haueted in payment of premiums. s—Absolute Security from Loss —Insurers, after having paid three fall annual premiums, are guaranteed' a cash surrender value of not less than 40 per cent, of the p^id-up premiums; and if for any reason the premiums ere not paid when due, a paid* up Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount to' the premiums paid, and often much in excess. 6—-Thirty days of grace are allowed on all Renewal Premiums. . 7—Liberal conditions as to trarelling and residence. B—Policies protected from Bank* ruptcy.—An Insurance Policy effected br tho Insured, hsnajtde on his own life, >is pro* teeter) from bankruptcy or insolvency laws to a certaia amount, which increases with it* duration. Thue, after it has endured for two years, it is protected to the extent of £200; after &ye years, to £500; after'seven yean, to £1000; after teu years, to >j/BDOQ. Thin protection applies only in pktiwt of the personal representative of th« Insured. 9 —Married women may effect Poii> cies, dispose of the money by. .will, as if single; and thdr Policies are protected from the debts of their husbands, according to dura* tion, to amounts similar to those stated above. 10—Settlement Policies —Policies effected, f:-r the benefit of the wife and v children of tho Insured are absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or any period not less than seven years. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by will. 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with —When a claim under a Policy do«s not exceed £200, 'the Commissioner may dispense with tho production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thue saving great expense to tho representatives of the Insured. 12—Prompt payment of Claims and no discount charged.
