Tie Payment, of every Policy is guarcmtefd by the^Colony. Participatioa in Proita is authorised by the Legis laturc to be given to, Policy-holders, . 2- Premium rates are lower than those of Private Companies* --: ' 3—No Policy or Medical Fees charged. • . , 4—All Policies are non-forfeit-able after one full annual; payment to the full extent of" their value, under a speaial regulation providing for the continuance in force of every Policy -for the original amount, until the surrender-valueof the Policy is ex-.. hauated in payment of premiums. 5— Absolute Security from Loss —Insurers, after having p»id three full annual' premiums, are guaranteed a cash surrender ..value of not Jess than 40, per cent, of the paid-up premiums; and if for any reason the premiums ere not.paid when due, a paidup Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid, and often' much in excess; •„./"•-. 6—Thirty days of grace are allowed. ou all Senegal Premiums. ■ , • ' - * "-" ■-'*.'- ---7—liberal conditions as to tiwtel. . . iing and reei&we. ■ - ~.J-"~' B—Policies protected from Bank*.. ruptcy.—An iMsurnnco rPolioy effected by the Insured, benafide, on his own life, is pro* V tecfred from bankruptcy or insolvency laws to - A. certain amount, which increases with, it*, duration. This protection' applies only in favour" of - the personal representative- of the Insured. - 9 —Married women may effect Policies, dispose of the money by will, as if single | and their. Policies are protected from the debts of their husbands, according to dura- - tioh, to amounts similar, to those stated above. 10—Settlement Policies .^-Policies effected for the benefit of the wife and children of the Insured are absolutely pro* tected from the claims oLcreditars to the extent 'of £2000, provided that tie premiums arejmyablo during life, or any period not less than seven years.
