COROMANDEL.
This day. : Nothing new in mining to report. The County Council meeting yesterday resulted in nothing ; full particlars of everything will be forwarded in due time. At the public meeting last night at the Upper Township the plebeian crowd and j non-electors. were largely represented. They tried to pass a. resolution asking Mr Cadman to resign, which was negatived. The meeting reminded one of a pack of wolves following ,a sledge through the snow so intent, were they upon hounding Cadman down.
