Parti" cipatioß in Profit's is authorised-by the Legis lature to be given to Policy-holders. ' ■> 2- Premium rates ar© lower than those of Private Companies. , ' 3—No Policy or Medical Pees ' charged. " - ' " 4—All Policies are non-forfeit-able after oife full annual payment to the full < extent of their value, under a special regulation providing..for .the continuance in force of every Policy for tho original amount, until the surrender-value of the Policy is ex* hausted in payment of premiums.. s—Absolute Security from Lobs —Insurers, after haying puid three full an* nual premiums, are guaranteed a cash raf* render value of not Jess than 40 per cent, of . the paid-up premiums; and if for any reason the premiums fcro not paid when due, a paidup Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid. aad. oiiom much in excess/ , s, - - 6—Thirty days of grace are allowed on all Renewal Premiums. 7—Liberal conditions as to tratelling and residence. - B—Policies protected from Bankruptcy. —An Insurance Policy effected by the Insured, banajide on his own life,'is pro* tccted from bankruptcy or insolvency laws to a certain amount, which increases with its - duration. Thus, after it has endured for two years, it is protected to. the extent of £200 j after five years, to £500; after seven years, to £1000; after ten years, to, £2000. This protection Applies only in favour of the personal representative of the Insured. 9—Married women may effect Policies, dispose of the. money by will, as if single; and their Policies are protected.from the debts*of their husbands, according to duration-, to amounts similar to those stated abovt. 10—Settlement Policies— Policies effected for the benefit of the- wife and children of the Insured arc absolutely pro* tected from. the claims of creditors to. the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or any period not lees than seven years. If apportionment Is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by will. ; s. 11—Probate, &c., dispensed with —When a. claim under, a Policy does'not < exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration^ thus saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. , 12—Prompt payment of Claims and no discount charged. -\ W.
