" STAMP ACT, 1875." TRANSFERS OF SHARES. ' 1 T is he-eby notified; that, after the l>t <t 1 January 1876, the use of Impressed Stamps upon Trai-sfers of Shares is' compulsory, but transfers of shares may be stamped at a Stamp Office by the Commissioner or a Deputy Commissioner within or<e month after* exeouton without a fioe. Managers and Secretaries of Companies, Sharebrokers, and o'hers interested, are recommended to forward, without delay, suchforms of transfer as they may require to be impressed, accompanied by the usual requisition and receipt from the Bunk of New Zealand for amount thereof, less the authorised discount. Information may bo obtained at any SbusD Office. • The provisions cf the Act. relating hereto are as follow:— "47. (1.)
