Firing for District Prizss.
2nd Set.
Firingffor the second'set of Carbine prizes was completed this morning. The ranges were 200, 31J and dJO yards; 7 shots at each range ; 8-iuch brll's-eye at 200 and 3C I yards; second class targets at 4CO yards. - Thirty members of the Naval Volunteers competed for tFs set, and below,we give the highest scores with the amount of the several prizes won by the men who made the five highest scores. The wind was variable. The scores may be considered good for young shots :—
