This day.
Edward Pearce, M.H.K., will place his resignation in the hands of the Speaker this morning. The only candidates for the vacant seat as. yet, or likely to be, are Hutchison (Mayor) and Travers.
A writ, claiming damages £400, has been served upon Perrier, editor of the Time 3, as being the presumed author of a paragraph in the Times which Travers alleges he considers applied to him. Perrier has instructed his solicitor.
The prospectus of the Te Aro Theatre Company is published. The capital is £10,000, and a thousand shares.
