Besides the splendid crushing for the company finished on Saturday daring the fortnight ending on that day there - were 167 tons crushed for the, public which yielded 5840zs retorted gold. Poster and party of- the'Alburnia and Inglts and party the company's tributers have lots eomgthrough. The retorted gold lodged in the Bank of New Zealand on Saturday was melted to-day, and reduced to 7Q1f028 gold. The loss is very .small and reflects credit on the the treatment of the amalgam at the battery.
