Managers and Secretaries of Companies Sharebrekers, and others interested, were' commended to forward, without delay, mob, forms of transfer as they may require to be impressed, accompanied by the ueual requisi> lion and receipt from. the Bank «f New Zealand for amount thereof, lent the authorised discount. ■ ' Information may be obtained at any Stamp Office. ' ■ • - The provisions of the Act relating hereto are as follow:— : i " 47. (1.) Except where express provision is mar?e to the contrary, all duties are to be denoted by impressed stamps only." And if such person is a lieeased sharebroker, his license shall, on any cowrietion under this 'section, be absolutely forferted, and he shall not thereafter be qualified to act as a broker, or to have a fresh license issued to him. ■ ;• " 104. REGISTRATION OF ABBREVIATED Xi ADDRESSES. — With the view'of saving as much as possible the obit of the transmission of Telegrams to New: Zealand from other countries, a register will be kept at every Telegraph Station in New. Zealand for the Registration of Arbitrary-or Oypker Addresses in the shape of one or more words. No fee will be charged for registration. Persons registering will require to communicate the Cypher or Arbitrary Address to their Correspondents. The Telegraph Companies register, names and addresses of telegraph correspondents free of charge, at all their Stations, and in London at 74, Old Broad street; 8, Leadenhall street; and 42, Finsbury Circus. Addresses may also be registered at any Government Telegraph Office in England or Scotland upon payment of rOne Guinea to the Postmaster-General, London.
