PUMPING ASSOCIATION.
The total length of the north cross-cut at present is 483 feet, 34 feet. being the distance driven during the last fortnight that McLoughrey and party held the contract. The country has much improved for the better of late, and more than double the distance can be driven in the fortnight than could be three months ago.
