I A party of masked burglars robbed the County Bank last night of nine hundred pounds. MEtBOUBRE/.February 15. Thirty-eight trucks have been destroyed by a railway accident on the Sandhurst line. The loss is about £4000. The remains pf two brothers, named McQuarrie, have been found on the Palmer road. They had been murdered by the blacks. Portions of roasted human skin and hair were found.

An action has been tried, McLaughlan r. the Standard Insurance Company of New Zealand, for non-payment of a policy. A verdict was returned for the plaintiff for £333.
