WESTPORT.
Wednesday. A public meeting was held last night on the troublesome colliery reserve question. The government, by their agent Thomas Mackay, offer a seven years' lease from the Ist January. .Seventy-six occupants indignantly refuse .acceptance of less than fourteen. Troubles are likely to continueunless the concessions are made.
