This day. Union Beach.—The manager reports one hundred and ninety-three pounds of ' specimens on hand this morning, and a good show left. The Golden Point has finished crushing, and is now retorting. The Carnatie commmence sending stuff to the battery on Monday. Royal Oak.—The manager's report speaks hopefully of the general workings of the mine, and refers to specimens taken from the lodes during the week. j Tokatea.—There is nothing important during the week to note. Everything is going on well. There is a probability of a public meeting with a view to the purchase of the Kina for the Coromandel trade exclusively. Numbers have agreed to take shares already.
