' NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Council will be held at the Offices of the County Council in Srortland, on the 28th day of February, 1877 ( for the purpose of confirming the < following resolution, which was adopted at a Special Meeting of the Council held in the Court House, Grahamstown, on the 30th January, 1877 :— " That the By-laws in respect of Slaughter Houses, Pedlars, and Hawkers, and Public Pounds, as submitted by the Committee appointed by this Council, be received and adopted, and the Clerk be instructed to take the necessary steps to bring them into operation in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1876."
