Tuesday. There was heavy rain all last week, which has done great damage to the crops. The weather is better to-day.
Part of a cabin of a ship, with the word "Officers" painted on it, was washed up on the beach here.
Judge Ward^uptiolds the conviction of John Hamilton, who was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment for a breach of the Distillery Act. "The prisoner returned to gaol after two months' liberty, pending the appeal.
