The 15ozs of amalgam which was brought to town on Saturday as the result of the trial crushing for this mine at Perry's battery was retorted yesterday for the yield of 7ozs 13dwts gold. The amalgam has thus jielded in a most extraordinary prolific manner, nearly onehalf of it being goldi Jf the other parcels* of amalgam yield as well, the Owharoa district will not be so bad after all. ;
