Melboubne, January 23.
Mount Buninyong was in flames from the base to the summit on Saturday night, and the farmers in the vicinity had great difficulty in saving their homesteads. It is supposed to have been caus~d by a drunken farmer. Sydney, January 22. The Premier, the Treasurer, and Post-master-General represent us at the Conference. No further cases of fimall-pox have been discovered. The Rev. P. H. Cornford, from Auckland, entered upon his duties at the Baptist Church yesterday.
