General Notices NOTICE. » X PPLICATION TO REGISTER FORMS Can now be obtained at THE EVENING STAB OFFICE, Albert street. „ UHIBHHHHBHIIBiHrifeHBiHJHHHIHBH OF HOLLOWAY'S PILLS AND OINTMENT. I most respectfully take leave to call the attention of the inhabitants of Australasia to the fact that Messrs HENRY, CUBKAN and CO., Wholesale Druggists, of NEW YOKE, have Agencies in various parts, -and that their Travellers are going all over the country vending SPURIOUS IMITATIONS of my Pills and Ointment, which they make in New Yobk, and which beaft in some instanc- j^^^h. es their trade mark thus — flm W%T~ wn^s* on other labels of »| |«Jt| pthis trash Jt is omitted, the^^|j|^Ji better to deceive you, bnt^^Jjjjpr the words "New York" 5^ are retained. Much of this fictitious stuff is sold in the Auction Booms of Sydney and elsewhere, and readily finds its way into the back settlements. These are vile frauds, as I do riot allow my Medicines even to be sold «in any part of the United States; they are only made by me at 633, Oxford street, London. The same people are circulating a report that my business is about to be formed into a Company, which is utterly FALSE. I most earnestly appeal to that sense of British justice, which I feel sure I may venture upon asking from my kind countrymen and countrywomen in their distant homes, to assist me, as far as may lay in their power, in denouncing this shameful American Fraud, by cautioning their friends lest they be duped into buying villainous compounds styled " Holloway's Pills and Ointment" with any New York label thereon. . Each Pot and Box of the Genuine Medicines bears the British Government Stamp, with the words "Holloway's Pills and Ointment, London," engraved thereon. On the labol is the address, 533, Oxfobd Steeet, London, . where alone they are manufactured. (Signed) THOMAS HOLLO WAY.
