AJAX (TAIRUA).
A report has been received by the directors from the mine manager, Mr Benney. It states that he was crushing and had obtained Bozs of amalgam as the result of eight hours' work. There
was a great improvement in the appearance of the reef, and it was beginning to resume its natural course. It went on to state that there was a great scarcity of mining requisites and coal.
