This day.
Tokatea.—The manager reports a little gold seen in several stopes in the Van level. A few pounds of picked stone —blotches of gold seen in the stone. In No. 1 rise expect to get specimens in quantities shortly.
Royal Oak. —The manager reports gold seen freely in the left hand branch of the intermediate level. A little picked stone obtained, the leader continuing good width. Gold is also seen occasionally in the Little and Good and Little Wonder leaders. The mine^generally i| looking very satisfactory. ,
lona.—At a meeting of directors yesterday a. call of one shilling was made. It was resolved to open out on the 90-foot level to cut the lode that flooded the low level, with a view of testing the quartz.
Union Beach. —A small quantity of good stone to-day.
