West, an architect, sued Cramond, coach proprietor, for £66, commission on £2752, the amount of the lowest tender received for a dwelling house of which the plaintiff had drawn the plans, but which had not been built. Cramond proved that he had only instructed West td draw plans of a house to cost £1200, or £1500 at the most. The Judge decided that the plans of the house should revert to Cramond (Qy. ? West) and gave judgement for defendant with costs.

In the case of Sution v. Dunn, a well to do farmer who had turned his wife out of doors and advertised that he would not be responsible for her debts. However she got credit up to £42, for necessaries, for which Dunn was sued. The judge., ordered him to pay^-execution to iseue in twelve hours.
