DUNEDIN.
Tuesday.
Miss Christina Clark, of Havelock, near Lawrence, was committed for trial for wilful murder by a coroner's jury. She gave birth to a child on the 27th ult., and three days after the infant was found wrapped up in flannel in her bedroom by one of her neighbours. Medical evidence testified to the child having been born alive.
