T.N.B. Prize Firing.

This company terminated a series of rifle matches at the Parawai range last Saturday for a Taluable watch presented some time back by Mr James Stewart, an honorary member of the Brigade. This prize was carried off by Seaman Fagg, closely followed by Lieut. Gavin. Mr Fagg was five points ahead last match, but Lieut. Gavin pulled tip three points on Saturday last, and it was evident Mr Fagg's advantage was a good deal to pull up in one match, especially as his shooting of late has been especially good. The following are the leading scores and aggregates :— P.O. Gordon ... 57 Aggregate... 201 Lieut. Gavin ...57 ,» ...218 Seaman Fagg ... 55 „ ... 221 P.O.Newdick ...53 „ ...215 Seaman Sykes ... 45 „ ... 206
