Scottish Cadets.

The competition for Mr Ehrenfried's medal .took t place this, morning..at the Government range. There were 20 competitors, and though the weather was anything but favorable there was -some good shooting made. The ranges were 100, 200 ;and 300 yards-; Sergeant Ellis succeeded in carrying off the medal with a score of 41 points, closely followed by Cadet Sampson with 39, who gets the second prize, a handsome book, presented by Capt. Richards. Lieut. Horn won the third prize, which was presented by Mr Marshall, with a score of 39, and Cadet Robinson the fourth prize of ss, with a score of 37. The following are the names of some of those who come next—McFarlane, who made a score ; of 36, Morgan, a score of 34, and Sergt. Bond, 32.
