MR STEPHENSON AT THE AMERICAN THEATRE.

Mr S. Stephenson, the "democratic candidate" for Parliamentary honours, addressed the electors at.Butt's Theatre, Shortland, last night. There were about 100 persons present, and Mr J. Heron was -called to the chair on the motion of Mr Joshua Jackson.
