SYDNEY.
The time for the reception of articles for the Philadelphia exhibition has been extended to December 31st. At a meeting of the Lands League a resolution against the present Acts was carried. An amendment of the Public Schools Bill is to be brought in before the close of the session. Motions for the abolition of the import duties on salt, also the annuity to Dr Lang have been postponed. A bill to amend the Divorce law has passed its third reading.
