Thames Water Works.
The section contracted for by Mr Foughey, consisting of one mile and three quarters, from the Waio-Karaka datn, crossing the Karaka creek; through Block 27, and extending towards the Rob Roy Hotel, Parawai, has been completed, and officially passed by the Resident Engineer, Mr Aitken. This portion of the race is now ready for the inflow of water as soon as the -Messrs Smith's section is connected therewith. The entire contract has been finished in a manner reflecting credit upon the contractor. ! '
