A DBTTNKABD AND VAGRANT. . John Russell alias Rpsser was charged with drunkenness on the'3rd instant.'! Hb was also charged with a breach of the Vagrant Act, being a rogue and a yagabond, having" been previously convicted as an idle and disorderly person. Defendant pleaded guilty to the first charge, and was fined VJsiy;or 24 hours' imprisonment.
Mr Bullen called the attention qf v the Bench to the number of previoSiscdnvictions recorded against defendant, who had only just completed one term of imprisonment for habitual drunkenness.
The Bench sent defendant to gaol for three months.
