This protection npplies only in favour of the personal representative of the Insured. 9—Married women may effect Poli. cies, dispose of the money by will, as if single • and their Policies are protected from the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar to those stated above. **97^tle,ment Policies.—Policies effected for the benefic of the wife and children of the Insured ara absolutely protected from the claims .of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or anyperiod not less than seven years. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can bo subsequently'made by will. 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with/ —When a claim under a Policy does nofe exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense With the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thus saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. 12—Prompt ..payment of Claims and no discount charged.
